Gov. Lee Signs Bill Into Law Laying Groundwork For Global Currency

Legislation known as “The Money Transmission Modernization Act,” legally redefines what the law currently recognizes as “money” in the state of Tennessee, laying the groundwork for a global currency, was officially signed into law by Governor Bill Lee on April 4th, 2023.
This legislation appears to set Tennessee up to allow foreign governmental entities the opportunity to produce, house, and exchange a currency that is not currently recognized by banks owned and operated within the state.
No real attention was brought to the Act before its passage in the legislature and critics of the bill feel that legislators should have been more transparent with their constituents about what the bill would actually be doing, paving the way for a global currency.
Senate Bill 0268 (SB0268) was sponsored by Sen. Jack Johnson (R-Franklin-District 27) and passed in the Senate by a vote of 32-0 back in February.
Its companion, House Bill 0316 (HB0316), was sponsored by Rep. William Lamberth (R-Portland-District 44) and passed in the House with a 78-10 vote on March 20th.
After both bills received passage, the legislation was sent over to the Governor’s Office on March 24th and Gov. Lee signed it into law on Tuesday of this week.
In the legislative process, the governor, as head of the executive branch is fully capable of utilizing his or her veto power to send a bill back to the legislature. Sometimes the legislature overrules the governor’s veto by majority vote and other times they concede to the governor’s wishes.
In Tennessee, governors are also allowed to not sign a bill. Typically, this is done to signify disagreement with a law being passed, but the bill still becomes law without the governor’s signature after a period of ten days.
However, Gov. Lee chose to sign this possibly harmful legislation instead of vetoing it, and has actually never used his veto power before.
When Tennessee’s 113th General Assembly comes to an end next month, the Governor’s Office will send all bills passed during the legislative session to the Secretary of State’s Office where they will remain from that point on.

Uhhh, you should look at your calendar. Lee was just re-elected to a second term. Another testimonial to the triumph of “name recognition” over good governance. He will be remembered as just another “make no waves” CINO. Indeed, a career caretaker.

Lee & company have definitely set out to destroy Tennessee. WE are paying for the statium in Nashville, Paying Ford to come and cover thousands of prime Delta farm land in Tennessee under concrete. Ford is bleeding red ink due to ev. TVA is promoting solar farms which also takes prime farm land out of cultivation since they don’t place them on roof tops or over parking lots. TVA will only allow 5% of total production to be solar yet the are taking coal fire plant s offline then imploding the facilities so they CAN’T be put back online. Heads up Tennesseans. WE experienced our first rolling blackout last December. We’ve had worse winters in my lifetime without any rolling blackouts. Henry County is converting to voting centers instead of precincts while assuring that all internet connections are hardwired while also talking about wifi connectivity. Wifi isn’t hardwired.

They should have informed the citizens of Tennessee about this.
The basically says come on in to Global currency and the much talked about Bidd bucks, which is digital currency, which will allow them to track every dime you spend and on who and what. Think the Biden Administration won’t use this to stop you from sending money to his opposition? What in the current administration has been honest?
Ever since his re-election Governor Lee has shown his true colors for sure. He is a Rino!

Now, who is really behind this? Who controls our lawmakers? Why do they have to act with such secrecy, excluding the people? If you need any proof they consider you to be in the way, just try and talk to one of them and watch ’em run!
Correct. our e-mails go into their spam folders. They either don’t respond to phone calls or essentially tell you that you don’t know what you are talking about if you actually get them on the phone. In my district both House (Tandy Darby) & Senate (John Stevens) persons not representatives are rinos. I did vote against Lee. There were too many running against him in primary which diluted the opposition vote in the primary. Those running against these rinos need to recognize this.
What a disappointment Gov Lee has turned out to be. 🙁

It is not in the wording but how it is worded that the true meaning comes out. They use confusing terminology so that something seems to say one thing but actually means the opposite. Ever noticed how many of them are lawyers?
Gov Lee is a big disappointment! He has turned out to be a Rino for sure. He is helping usher in digital currency and once that happens 90% of the people will be shocked.
Since Gov Lee has signed this into law, can TN residents move our $ to FL state banks where Gov DeSantis has taken action against this?

This is a pivotal year, though many bills have been pushed to next Sessions. Lee showed his colors way before last year. He hired 50% democrats into his cabinet before he was sworn in the first time. Plenty of news for the looking– TN Star, TCN, etc etc.. we can still attempt a push on our reps.
This is horrible and evil. Why in the world would he go along with the beast system new world order? Even DeSantis had sense enough not to let this happen in Florida. I am truly disgusted! Maybe I need to move out of my home state and go somewhere where the people are informed and they care about the citizens! I do not accept this and won’t go along to get along!
