Governor Lee Says Jan. 6th Hearings Are A Distraction From More Important Issues

Governor Bill Lee made some remarks about the Jan. 6th, 2021 hearings to reporters on Tuesday after speaking to the Tennessee Chamber of Commerce in Franklin at the Safeguarding Tennessee from Illegal Trade Event.
When asked about the commission’s work, Lee called the U.S. House’s current hearings into what transpired at the U.S. Capitol a “big distraction.”
“I think we should be a little more focused, as I am, with what’s happening today in America,” Lee said. “And frankly, from my perspective, there’s a lot of national politics surrounding what happens in D.C. I’m focused on what’s happening in Tennessee.”

While the commission investigates what they say is an “insurrection” and an attempt by former President Donald Trump to pressure officials into overturning the 2020 election results, Lee shared an alternate view.
“It’s simply breaking the law and should be treated as such,” said Lee. “People should recognize it as such.”
A poll released last month shows that Lee shares the opinion of the majority of Tennesseans about the events at the U.S. Capitol last January. In the statewide poll, results show that 51% of Tennessee voters believe that Jan. 6th was a legitimate protest. Less than half believe Biden won the election fair and square.
Lee was also asked how Jan. 6th events ought to be presented to school children.
“I spoke to that when it occurred,” said Lee. “It’s lawlessness what occurred there and it should be dealt [with] that way and it has been. And people have been investigated and arrested through the court system.”

Trump did not try to overturn the election. He merely wanted to halt the proceedings until an audit could determine who won. There was definitely cheating, we know that as a fact.
Gov . Lee is right on the democrats would do anything to try to get our minds off of their failure and destroying our country Biden has taken us back 40 +years from the time he appeared in Washington Biden has never been for the American people.
Trump was upset over the election results flipping course in last minute vote counts, wanted a forensic recount , specific precincts reporting irregularities, simple.
Protesters that attended the large non violent capitol, witnessed a separate group in Camo, dropped off by vans rushing past them and attacking the capital, quietly left area for their safety, not arrested. They witnessed that Capital Police were thinly staffed (Pelosi in charge of Capital Police), DC has cameras everywhere, FBI plenty of evidence plus there are lots of Anti Government groups.
Democrats have tried to Impeach Trump twice without evidence and now another Circus, wasting millons of Government funds while Americans are suffering.
Gov.Lee needs to stop being distracted and resend unconstitutional state laws

Has anyone read or heard Lee even so much as comment on the absence of due process against the J6 political prisoners in the WDC gulag
