National Defense: A “Deere” John Letter from America’s Farmers?

America is under siege! One area where little “dot connecting” seems to be being done concerns our open border and domestic agriculture.

Korean War servicemen received letters from their wives and sweethearts informing them they had been replaced by a new love interest. The pervasive phenomenon caused widespread reporting with one letter, from a girl to her boyfriend named John, being used as a representation; thus, the phrase, “Dear John Letter” was born giving rise to several country songs.

I have previously raised questions about the security of our national guard armories and our ports of entry, today I raise questions whether, or not America’s farmers, the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), and the Biden Administration are “unknowingly” in the process of writing us a “Deere” John letter of their own. And, while quietly divorcing themselves from us, is our national security being endangered?

The border is wide open with Chinese men of military age streaming  into our population, unvetted.

Simultaneously, China is buying more and more of our food companies, like Smithfield America’s biggest pork processing company.

They are also buying land immediately adjacent to military bases rightly perceived as spying operations, but their purchase of farming operations may present a more immediate internal threat.

In 1995, Timothy McVeigh and a former army serviceman committed a domestic terrorist attack, second only to 911, when they detonated a rented van full of “agricultural fertilizer” killing 168 people, all but leveling the Oklahoma Federal bldg., and damaging hundreds of others in the vicinity.

Although steps were taken at the time to better regulate the manufacture, sales, and distribution of these products, these security measures were put in place when Americans owned the farms and the companies that dealt with these products; this is no longer the case!

Many farmers are choosing to reap a real estate-harvest over growing crops by selling their farms and by proxy providing “legitimate” access to “agricultural fertilizer” to buyers.

Immediate security steps need to be taken by the government and businesses to ensure that the buyers are not our enemies!

The only part of the prescription for disaster left in this equation is the new Chinese farm owners hiring the unvetted Chinese men of military age as “farmers” giving them access to and the transport of these volatile products.

We should not leave the choice up to them whether to grow corn as high as an elephant’s ear, or to level all our shopping malls!
