Republicans Kill Two More Medical Freedom Bills In Same Subcommittee

Republicans on the House Business and Utilities Subcommittee killed two bills yesterday regarding medical freedom in Tennessee.
House Bill 2073 sponsored by Representative Mark Cochran (R-Englewood-District 23) would have prevented entertainment venues that receive 5% or more in public funding from requiring proof of a COVID-19 vaccine to enter.
House Bill 2311, sponsored by Representative Bruce Griffey (R-Paris-District 75) would have made the imposition of a Covid vaccine mandate or the requirement of a Covid vaccine passport a criminal offense in Tennessee.

Cochran’s bill had a motion and a second but upon taking a vote to move the bill forward it failed 6 to 4. Out of the 6 no votes cast, 4 were from Republicans. Those Republican representatives that voted no were Kent Calfee (Kingston-District 32), Patsy Hazlewood (Signal Mountain-District 27), Curtis Johnson (Clarksville-District 68), and Eddie Mannis (Nashville-District 18).
Griffey’s bill failed to get a motion or a second. Repeating what happened to a patient’s rights bill in the Health Subcommittee on March 1st.
Speaking to The Tennessee Conservative about his Republican colleagues, Griffey said that they are “not even taking common sense approaches to issues Tennessee voters want action on.”
Explaining his bill previously, Griffey said, “I don’t feel that the legislature went far enough during October’s special legislative session on this issue. This is about protecting an individual’s freedom to make their own medical decisions and the freedom of parents to make healthcare decisions for their children.”
Griffey polled his district and received input from over 5,500 of his constituents as to their position on Covid mandates. Overwhelmingly, 93-95% of respondents opposed vaccine mandates or passports by the government or private employers.

RHINO’s, only concern is there election funds.
I ditto Rayman. Either these four have just arrived to earth after two years and are totally unfamiliar with the current overwhelming evidence this was a head fake plandemic or I want to see who has funded them and their personal stock portfolios. Otherwise they need to switch to the Marxist Democrat party.
Covid and future mutations of the virus like the flu can’t be resolved with mandates and scare tactics. Masks on and off, Vaccinations rewarded, Anti Vax, no cards, demonized, daily fear mongering, portrayed as deliberate spreaders of Virus. We will learn long term repercussions of MRNA Vaccinations in future, this didn’t have to be so chaotic and contentious.
So many things currently dividing out country are simply intended to divide/distract our Nation: A few bad Police vs the honorable/dedicated, restricted US Fossil Fuels vs Imports from non Allies, Ukrainians our allies in Afghanistan but now abandoned, Impeachment of a seated President twice without without prior substantial evidence. Our main problem is media manipulation, we need the News Reported or Warning this Media contains political bias and all the facts presented are only partially true.
Vote these turn coats out.
Do these people not remember where their constituents live? This isn’t Massachusetts or Washington DC. But clearly they aspire to be in similar locations. Let’s be sure they have the free time to explore job opportunities in those places after the next election.
These people are compromised, and planted there, to serve, or represent, not the people, but the special interests, that helped them get elected, they are a danger, bigger than we think, they operate under the radar, which makes them more lethal. Wake up people.
