RINO Senator Jon Lundberg Hires Never-Trumper Consultant For Reelection Campaign

RINO state Sen. Jon Lundberg (R-Bristol-District 4) has hired the consulting firm of “never-Trumper” and former chief of staff to Gov. Bill Lee (R-TN), CEO Blake Harris, to run his 2024 reelection campaign according to the Tennessee Journal.
A resident of the Nashville area, Harris founded his lobbying and PR firm BHA Strategy back in 2022.
He previously served as a member of Gov. Lee’s cabinet for three years, priding himself on being “the political strategist behind Gov. Lee’s dark horse gubernatorial win in 2018, as well as the governor’s resounding 2022 re-election win.”
Harris’ consulting firm has self-proclaimed “deep roots” in the world of political campaigns and focuses on reputation management among other things.
Brought on as President of BHA Strategy is Brent Easley, who previously served as Gov. Lee’s legislative director for almost five years.
According to the firm’s website, during his time as part of the Lee Administration Easley “was successful in gaining passage of key policies in a number of areas including modernization of transportation policy, sweeping changes in education, criminal justice reforms, COVID-19 response and targeting budget priorities.”
Considering the lack of conservative values realized by much of Gov. Lee’s legislation, it is no surprise that fellow RINO Sen. Lundberg would hire a sort of “nepo baby” firm of the Lee Administration to back him in this year’s Senate race.
It remains to be seen whether District 4 voters have had enough of Sen. Lundberg’s establishment GOP approach to public policy.
Some of the highlights from Sen. Lundberg’s voting record during the 2024 legislative session include:
• Voting against legislation allowing law enforcement to assign school resource officers to schools that fail to request one
• Voting against and ultimately helping to kill legislation that would have increased penalties for transporting illegal immigrants to Tennessee and held common carriers accountable for doing so
• Joined fellow Senate Judiciary Committee members in refusing to make a motion for legislation to be heard that would have prohibited the use of local and state law enforcement for intelligence gathering operations focused on Tennessee
• Voting in favor of mandatory reporting legislation that critics referred to as a “Red Flag Gun Bill”
• Voting against and contributing to the death of Sen. Janice Bowling’s “Bathroom Bill” which would have given victims the right to sue those entering spaces not aligned with their biological sex
Following the “Bathroom Bill’s” failure in the Senate, Sen. Lundberg’s Republican opposition in this year’s election, Bobby Harshbarger, issued a statement condemning the incumbent’s vote.
“I am sickened and worried at Jon Lundberg and the Senate’s inability to protect our children from radical indoctrination. The classroom is no place for extreme gender ideology,” Harshbarger said. “Lundberg is quick to tout his position in leadership, why didn’t he use his leadership to protect our children?”
Harshbarger, son of U.S. Rep. Diana Harshbarger (R-TN-District 1), has previously criticized Sen. Lundberg’s voting record on illegal immigration and LGBTQ+ related legislation, for not being in line with conservative values.
“I’m going to be the one that stands up and says Jon Lundberg you voted wrong,” Harshbarger told News Channel 11.

Who cares? The Tea Party conservative Republicans put these HACKS in power over a decade ago. They kept them in power by never calling them out in public, running active programs to inform their constituents not to support the candidates or corrupted party. It’s the fault of uniformed voters that situation like this exist. I admit I was sucked in by Lee the first time but not the second. My own fault for not being informed. First and foremost, we, as voters, must learn the truth about the candidates before we vote. This publication is one great way to do so. Next we get off our butts and vote. The status quo remains until we vote them out. Vote for candidates willing to endorse term limits, pass laws to make it easier to remove elected and non-elected official who don’t honor their campaign promises. Above all, VOTE, VOTE, VOTE!!!!!!!!!!

If won’t matter if Lundberg hires Jesus to run his campaign he is going to be put out to pasture in 2024 and it way past time but Lundberg is not the only RINO that needs to be retired. This hires proved Lundberg is desperate and knows he has a real contender in Bob Harshbarger.
