Perfidy is the perfect word to describe RC School board members Claire Maxwell and Stan Vaught. It refers to an act of betrayal or disloyalty, particularly in a context where trust is broken. It is often associated with treachery and faithlessness. These two school board members continue to break trust with our children.
We may witness this treachery once again at the Wednesday, April 9th board meeting when protestors will fill the boardroom to pressure board members to provide K-12 pornographic books and promote Godless prayerless schools and board meetings.

Chairwoman Claire Maxwell and fellow board member Stan Vaught seem to have “partnered in perfidy”. They have consistently voted to keep obscene children’s books in the libraries with few exceptions.
Recently, a motion was put forth to begin each school board session with a “prayer”. Stan Vaught “partnered” with Maxwell, both self-identified Christians, voting against prayer. Each session of the Constitutional convention was begun with prayer by our founders and the first document they voted to be published and given to all Americans was the Bible.
This school board “pair” seem to have little understanding of “separation of church and state” arguing a Christian prayer violates the “rights” of others. The separation of church and state was put forth to keep the government out of organizing religion, not to keep God out of the government. The founders stated our democratic republic required moral people engaged in its oversight and implementation. Maxwell’s no-prayer vote seems especially a betrayal given her husband’s honorable military service.
Shortly after Pearl Harbor, a small book called “Strength for Service to God and Country” was published. It was a daily prayer devotional sized to fit into military jacket pockets. Millions of these daily devotionals were issued to our GIs before being sent overseas to fight for God and country. These books were reprinted for Korea, and again in 1998 when Tennessee Eagle Scout Evan Hunsberger conducted a scout project in honor of his grandfather Eugene who initially created and published the book right here in Nashville.

Many of these blood-stained “Prayer” devotionals littered the battlefields throughout Europe and the South Pacific, while many others floated in the waters and on the beaches on D-Day. The school board displays no profile in courage by voting for prayer and God’s guidance. This heritage of military and Eagle Scouting makes Claire Maxwell’s “NO VOTE FOR PRAYER” profoundly shameful.
During WWII, greater London was being bombed incessantly. Steadfast to save their children, agonized parents put thousands of their kids on trains to live in the countryside for the “duration”. They entrusted fellow Englishmen and women with their children’s physical and moral wellbeing; they were not betrayed; their trust was not broken. Is that scenario even possible today in America?
Who can be trusted not to molest them. Massive child sex trade abounds on American soil because there is a “demand”! American homes are filled with so much televised filth America has become the child pornography center of the world. We are regularly sending our children into places of “perfidy” like churches with pedophile priests, schools with teachers and administrators and boards who conspire with medical communities lusting to “trans” your child, give them sexually explicit books, put boys in girls’ bathrooms and sports even secretly from their parents.

“I would never want to reach out someday with a soft, uncalloused hand-a hand never dirtied by serving-and shake the nail-pierced hand of Jesus”, Bill Hybels
All RC school board members should raise their soft uncalloused hands in service of our Lord and not just vote to keep prayer at the school board meetings, but also in all TN classrooms. They need to begin repairing their broken trust to our children, communities, country, and its defenders!
“The value of persistent prayer is not that God will hear us, but rather we will finally hear God”, William McGill.
