Senator Ted Cruz Endorses Andy Ogles for U.S. Congress

On July 28th, Andy Ogles, Republican candidate for Tennessee’s 5th Congressional District, announced an endorsement from U.S. Senator Ted Cruz of Texas. Senator Cruz and Andy Ogles issued the following statements after the announcement:
U.S. Senator Ted Cruz said, “I am proud to endorse Andy Ogles for Congress in Tennessee’s 5th Congressional District. He is a steadfast conservative who will join me in the fight to cut taxes, secure our Southern border, and protect the 2nd Amendment. Andy has spent his life working for the people of Tennessee, and I have no doubt he will continue to display that passion for service when elected to Congress.”
Andy Ogles, Candidate for Tennessee’s 5th Congressional District issued this statement, “I am honored and humbled to receive the endorsement of Senator Ted Cruz. He has been a steadfast voice for freedom and liberty in our battle against the radical left, and I am proud to join him in that fight. Senator Cruz’s leadership has advanced the conservative movement, and I’m blessed he has placed his trust in me to represent Tennessee’s 5th District.”
Ogles has also been endorsed by Veterans for America First (formerly Veterans for Trump) Americans for Prosperity Action, the conservative House Freedom Fund and The Tennessee Conservative.
In the Tennessee Conservative’s endorsement statement regarding Ogles, we said, “Andy Ogles, Maury County Mayor, has a track record of supporting local, state, and federal policies that promote economic freedom and create opportunities that improve the lives of Tennesseans. He also led the charge against federal government overreach impacting the medical freedoms of Tennesseans before it became popular to do so.”
Ogles has also landed an endorsement from personal finance guru, Dave Ramsey.
