Tennessee Conservative News Staff –
Two illegal aliens have been taken into ICE custody in Chattanooga on child sex charges while police in both Davidson County and Knox County take several others off of the streets.
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement picked up Leyvis Edi Velasquez-Perez, who was on supervised probation in Chattanooga after being convicted of solicitation of a minor.

Velasquez-Perez, a native of Guatemala, had previous convictions in Georgia for driving without a license and in North Carolina for failure to obey traffic laws. According to ICE officials, he has no documentation of legal entry into the United States and will be held in custody as he awaits immigration removal proceedings.
Jorge Gonzalez-Lopez, of Mexico, was also taken into custody around April 7 after it was determined that he reentered the U.S. illegally and failed to register as a sex offender.
Gonzalez-Lopez was previously deported in 2010 after being convicted of the 2009 rape of a 12-year-old child in Oklahoma. He has been indicted after being unable to provide documentation of legal reentry.

Davidson County police also arrested the following illegal aliens:
51-year-old Hector Donaciano De Jesus – arrested May 11
- De Jesus was charged with driving under the influence (2nd offense), driving on a revoked license, and violation of probation. He was booked on $19,000 total bond.

39-year-old Jose Santos Granados Velasquez – arrested May 12
- Velasquez was charged with driving or moving an unregistered vehicle, resisting stop/frisk/halt/arrest/search, evading arrest, evading arrest in a motor vehicle, driving under the influence (3rd offense), driver’s license required, and violation of probation. He was booked on a $29,500 total bond.

Knox County police also arrested the following illegal aliens:
21-year-old Carlos Eduardo Altamirano Izaguirre – arrested May 2
- Izaguirre was charged with DUI (first offense), evading arrest in a motor vehicle, and reckless endangerment with a deadly weapon involved. He was booked on a $6000 total bond.

21-year-old Rafael Mendez Perez – arrested May 3
- Perez was charged with prohibited weapons (knuckles). He was booked on a $5000 bond.

34-year-old Thompson Barjebo – arrested May 5
- Barjebo was charged with evading arrest/flight in a vehicle. He was booked on a $10,000 bond.

29-year-old Katherine Michelle Ocampo-Figueroa – arrested May 7
- Ocampo-Figueroa was charged with aggravated domestic assault. She was booked with zero bond.

33-year-old Fidel Vallelle – arrested May 11
- Vallelle was charged with domestic assault. He was booked on a $2500 bond.

Inmate records show that all of these individuals currently have immigrant detainers and will remain in custody until released to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. An ICE hold most likely means they are in this country illegally.
