First they denied it. Now they’re trying to defend it. But we won’t allow it.

Following his exposé on Vanderbilt University Medical Center’s transgender treatment on minors, Daily wire host and documentarian Matt Walsh, has announced he will be holding a rally in Nashville, Tennessee to push for the end of “child mutilation” in the Volunteer state.

Walsh is slated to speak at the event, which is scheduled to start at 4PM Central Time on October 21st and promoters say that more speakers will be announced soon.

Walsh is encouraging concerned Tennesseans to reserve their free ticket to the event to “send a message to the entire nation that radical experimentation is not ‘medical care’ as the left has claimed – it is child mutilation, and Americans will not allow it to continue.”

The current lineup of speakers at the event include Walsh, Representative William Lamberth (R-Portland-District 44), Robby Starbuck and Landon Starbuck.  More speakers to be announced soon.

In September, Walsh’s report outlined the use of irreversible puberty blockers, cross sex hormones, and surgeries on healthy children at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN.

Following the bombshell exposé, The Tennessee Conservative reminded readers that Tennessee RINOs killed legislation that would have prevented the mutilation of minors at Vanderbilt.

Senator Janice Bowling (R-Tullahoma-District 16) and Representative John Ragan (R-Oak Ridge-District 33) had been working to address what is happening at Vanderbilt for the last two years, but GOP leadership did not support their bills, instead favoring one that only prohibited hormone treatments to 8 to10-year-olds, and which became law last year.

Following, Lt. Governor Randy McNally (R-Oak Ridge-District 5) and Senator Ferrell Haile (R-Gallatin-District 18) stated that they expect a bill dealing with “transgender medical care” to be sponsored when the 113th General Assembly convenes in 2023.  Representative Ragan told The Tennessee Conservative that he already has another similar bill in draft but the push for its passage depends upon whether he is reelected to office.

However, concerned Tennesseans are voicing that they are not content with waiting until 2023 for legislation that may or may not be presented or be passed and are calling for the Tennessee General Assembly to have a Special Session to address this issue.  There has been no word yet on whether Tennessee’s state Senators, Representatives or Governor would support such an effort.

In the meantime, 62 state House members have signed a letter that was sent to Vanderbilt stating, “The Vanderbilt Pediatric Transgender Clinic’s practices qualify as nothing less than abuse…We, the elected representative body of the state of Tennessee, ask members of the VUMC Board of Directors to take immediate action by halting all permanent gender transitioning surgeries being performed on minor children… Tennesseans across our state have demanded a swift response and a call to action. We agree that these revelations require the legislature to act immediately.”

Governor Bill Lee has called for an investigation of the clinic. In a statement given to The Daily Wire, Lee said, “The “pediatric transgender clinic” at Vanderbilt University Medical Center raises serious moral, ethical and legal concerns. We should not allow permanent, life-altering decisions that hurt children or policies that suppress religious liberties, all for the purpose of financial gain. We have to protect Tennessee children, and this warrants a thorough investigation.”

However, Gary Humble, of Tennessee Stands, suggests that this is political pandering on the Governor’s behalf before the November elections.

A large turnout at the rally will likely get nationwide attention, further driving the point that Tennesseans want something done now to end ‘child mutilation’ and perhaps will compel Tennessee lawmakers to take decisive legislative action now instead of months away when the General Assembly reconvenes in 2023.

“We are going to put a stop to gender ideology’s assault on our children.  Come and be a part of the movement,” Matt Walsh said.

One way to stop them is to shut it down. Take away their medical credentials. Like the federal government did to doctors who were prescribing certain medications other than the ones that they approved for covid.
In God we trust not government or man.
    Have a blessed day.

I agree, Wayne. Shut them down. Take away all state benefits, and accreditation and watch the change in attitude and actions. These people are insane.
