According to the Secretary of State’s Office the first four days of early voting, Wednesday 10/14 – Saturday 10/17, saw a nearly 70% overall increase in turnout compared to 2022, with several of the state’s larger metropolitan areas seeing increases near or over 100%.

The data indicates that through these first four days, 91 of Tennessee’s 95 counties are ahead in turnout compared to the first four days of early voting in 2022. There have been 301,868 total votes cast thus far in 2026 versus 2022’s 177,677, a nearly 70% difference.

These increases are well-evidenced in areas like Memphis, Nashville, Knoxville, Chattanooga, and Clarksville, though as this is a general election, there is no determination as to how the surges may be divided between Democrats, Republicans, or Independents.

Below is a look at the turnout numbers for 2026 compared to 2022 in five of the state’s largest population areas for the first four days of early voting.

  1. Talking with someone who works at a polling place, they noted that the last few years Election Day has been quiet. It was noted more and more people are now early voting instead of waiting until Election Day. Most of my neighbors have voted already.
However, it seems the Left/RINOS are motivated. Don’t let them decide for you.
Make sure you vote or eventually paying $10,000 in Property Taxes for an 1,800 square foot home on a postage stamp sized lot. It’s only a few minutes of your time.

    1. I’ve voted already, however, what you say is correct. It’s politics, and things change all the time. Any candidate at any time could have some scandal erupt, or drop out or whatever. However, even if Marsha Blackburn has the biggest scandal in human history, I still wouldn’t vote for that democrat. No how, no way. I know it’s a bit of a nose holder this time, (I was for Monty) but Marsha seems to be our best shot. What really scares me, is that the democrats are out in force this time. If we don’t get off the couch and vote, we’re in big trouble. As Sarcastic Zword said, it only take a few minutes to cast a ballot. Please do your civic duty and vote to save Tennessee.
