We are approaching America's 250th anniversary. Most countries do not make it that long.
A historian, Sir Alex Fraser Tyler, professor in the University of Edinburg, studied the history of great civilizations.
He said these civilizations go through stages before they collapse.
1. Bondage to spiritual faith.
2. Spiritual faith to great courage.
3. Great courage to liberty.
4. Liberty to abundance.
5. Abundance to selfishness.
6. Selfishness to complacency.
7. Complacency to apathy.
8. Apathy to dependency which includes the breakdown of the family, loosing of sexual restraint and moral ambiguity.
9. Dependency to bondage, this is when a dictator takes over or the civilization collapses.
America is number 1 for child porn, number 1 for sex trafficking of children.
Nick Vujicic, a speaker who has no arms and legs recently spoke to the need for America, he said the greatest need is for repentance.
He said those who profess to know God need to ask God 3 questions every day.
1.What am I doing that you want me to stop?
2. What am I not doing that you want me to start doing?
3. What am I doing well, that you want me to keep doing.
This will change our nation!
