Are We Headed For Another Endless War?

As hysteria mounts regarding the delta variant, I can’t help but think we are headed to yet another endless war. In America, we have seen many non-combative wars including, the war on poverty, the war on drugs, the war on terrorism, and now the war on Covid. 

President Linden B. Johnson declared unconditional war on poverty in America. President Nixon declared war on drug use. President George W. Bush declared war on terrorism. While today, America is one of the largest welfare countries in the world, we have more overdoses in America annually than ever before (96,000 people overdosed in 2020), Al Qaeda is stronger than they have ever been, and we are now being served the alphabet-soup of Covid variants. 

What do all these federal government interventions have in common? The first thing is that there is no clear measure of success. The second, is that these interventions demanded the federal government spend trillions and trillions of dollars and the bureaucrats become more entrenched, with greater control over the population. As if a window repair man drives around throwing bricks through the windows of homeowners and businesses to drum up business, the government will seize power in the name of fighting an undefined enemy if provided the opportunity to do so.

Of course, some government intervention is necessary to protect the sovereignty of the nation and often the globe. Take World War II as an example. The United States obviously had to intervene. The difference being, there was a crystal-clear measure in which the American people could define success. Overthrow Nazi occupied Germany and get the Japanese to retreat. Great got it, easily definable success. But what does “winning the war against Covid19” look like, and at what cost? 

Hysteria surrounding the delta variant came and went, as data has shown, it is more transmissible, but is much less lethal. According to the CDC’s own data, there is a .008% chance of death from the delta variant. Now there are talks of a delta+ variant. That’s right, a supercharged super scary delta variant in the bullpen. Let me tell you, they have the entire lineup of variants from the AAA team ready to be called up to continue this government intervention. The question remains, are we headed for another endless war?

Recently the chief Icelandic epidemiologist, by the name of  Þórólfur Guðnason, suggests that the Covid related lockdowns could last up to 15 years. In America, we are hearing more and more rumblings regarding lockdowns, mask mandates and even forced vaccinations. All for a virus they have not been able to isolate in a lab from the common cold or the flu, and that has a 99.9975% survival rate for most of the population. 

What they don’t want you to know is that Covid19 has not been the leading cause of death for any age group. Including 65 and older. Nearly 2,000 Americans die of heart disease daily, mostly due to diabetes and obesity. Do you hear any discussions surrounding the banning of cholesterol or the fast-food chains on every corner?

What they also don’t want you to know is that 1 in 3 Americans (120 million) have already had covid. While an estimated 6/10^th of 1% die, the other 99.4% of those infected survive. With a “presumed immune status that appears to be superior to that which comes with vaccination” (CDC.gov). Why is there no discussion surrounding natural immunity? If the mainstream media were allowed to outwardly spill these facts, the hysteria could not continue, and the government could not continue with the endless intervention and order issuances, which is the backdoor method to bring Marxism to the forefront.

We must demand our overlords statistically quantify and identify what “beating the virus” looks like. Is it 10 deaths a day? 5 deaths? What does winning this war look like? How is the government currently measuring success regarding the campaigns that have already been hatched, including the “American Rescue Plan?” 

How long are the American people going to put up with this charade, while the federal bureaucracy works tirelessly to destroy this country’s economic system along with the middle class? As they continue to spend your children, grandchildren, and even great grandchildren into oblivion, are we going to continue to sit idly by? As they erase the ownership of private property, indoctrinate our children, create unprecedented levels of inflation, censor anyone who disagrees with the regime and surveils its citizens without their consent, the list could go on and on. This would be the first time in American history that the people have taken government overreach and out right authoritarian actions lying down. I believe the citizens have awakened and it is time to rise up and tell them we are not entering into another endless war.
