Thanks again for keeping people politically informed. I was pretty angry over the story of the middle school student… it was appalling how the sheriff’s Deputy handled this. (Removed his body cam?? how interesting!) This was not a one off dumb decision either… it was hours and hours of violating the child’s constitutional rights. Frankly, the teacher should have just brought the kid (and his friends) to the principal’s office for a pow wow and a reminder that escalating to that kind of speech is not humor, etc. Parents involved too. Would have been a pretty quick discovery as to whether he posed an actual threat.
I personally think they were all just too lazy to deal with the kid as a KID, and everyone now is a terrorist first – a dumb teen/pre-teen second. Anyway, thanks again, God Bless, Diane L.
