The Tennessee Conservative [By Adelia Kirchner] –
Turning Point USA, a well-known conservative grassroots activism platform working to empower conservative high school and college students across the country, has just released a mobile app that makes it easier to canvas Republican voters and activate grassroots efforts on the campaign trail.
According to Turning Point, their TPACTION app has everything users need to build lasting relationships with community members and mobilize voters, all in one place.
The system could prove useful to conservative candidates running against RINO incumbents in Tennessee this election cycle and Turning Point encourages conservatives to use the app for:
• Calling and Texting Abilities
• Door Knocking Mobilization
• Early Ballot Detection
• Rating Contacts
The app works off a GPS system so that users can easily identify Republican voters in the area they are canvassing, also allowing them to upload contacts, match phone contacts and create new contacts in order to call or text voters and give conservative candidates more exposure.
If a user drives to a different canvassing area the app is made to re-calibrate to the new location, helping conservatives to easily canvass multiple locations and register new voters.
Through this app, Turning Point offers users access to voter lists, pre-planned routes for door knocking, scripts for contacting voters.
Users are also purportedly able to learn, before reaching out, whether a voter prefers to cast their ballot during early voting or not and can contribute to a strong voter database by rating voter contacts on a political leanings scale to aid future interactions.
The TPACTION app, according to Turning Point, “is vital to successfully carry out TPAction’s Chase The Vote operation that will help secure a victory in 2024.”
