  1. I agree with this video, wholeheartedly.

But a few things are being left out of it. By all reports I’m hearing, the candidacy of the “Republican” that ran against John Ragan was approved not locally by our County Republican Party, but rather by a higher up in the State Executive Committee at the behest of a millionaire oil tycoon and NFL franchise owner, who contributed to that individual’s campaign against Mr. Ragan. That individual’s has never attended a Republican Party meeting, and, in fact, was an organizer for Barak Obama in both of his elections. His father was the head of the Trade’s Union at the federal facilities in Oak Ridge, a Mr. Carl “Bubba” Scarborough.

Furthermore, Mr. Ragan has actually carried bills in the TN HoR to indeed close the Republican primaries, but the bills are always killed in committee. Which is to say, it isn’t merely the State Executive Committee that is the roadblock, it is actually our elected State Representatives that are opposing this process change.

I was highly disturbed by Mr. Ragan’s narrow defeat facilitated by crossover voting (including the Democrat candidate, Jim Dodson, that ran against Mr. Ragan previously as a Democrat, but now voted in the Republican primary). My initial reaction was despair and disgust with my own party and, frankly, I considered just leaving the party altogether.

But after having a few days to reflect on it, rather than leave in protest, I find that it really is my place to fight of the party against those that would bastardize it for the sake of a few dollars. So I will now endeavor to carry out opposition research inside our own party and ferret out every corrupt dollar taken, every pervert cheating on his wife with an intern, and I will leave no stone unturned.

The party officials that would rather back RINOs, both in our executive committee and in our legislature, better be living squeaky clean lives, or any information I uncover, any picture I take, any rumor I hear, will be hastily submitted to the exceedingly willing liberal press to facilitate the destruction of reputations, careers and political aspirations.
