DUI, assault, and criminal recklessness from illegal aliens is on the rise across the state, with counties in Middle and East Tennessee recording an increasing number of arrests.
Davidson County police arrested the following illegal aliens:
Assault
21-year-old Angel Maurilio Sagui Seb – arrested July 19
- Seb was charged with aggravated assault with intentional serious bodily injury. He was booked on a $40,000 bond.
25-year-old Giolbert J. Garcia Prado – arrested July 20
- Prado was charged with domestic assault with bodily injury. He was booked on a $1000 bond.
30-year-old Armando Leonel Lopez-Lopez – arrested July 21
- Lopez was charged with domestic assault with bodily injury, driving under the influence, and driver’s license required. He was booked on an $11,000 total bond. Lopez has a previous charge of DUI from January 2025 as well as a currently open case for DUI in April 2026.
Driving Under the Influence
33-year-old David Ramirez – arrested July 20
- Ramirez was charged with driving under the influence (2nd offense) and driving on a revoked license. He was booked on a $6000 total bond. Ramirez was previously found guilty of DUI in March 2025. He was also charged with DUI in June 2023 but was convicted of the lesser charge of reckless driving.
20-year-old Alberto R. Gutierrez – arrested July 20
- Gutierrez was charged with driving under the influence and driver’s license required. He was booked on a $1500 bond.
38-year-old Jose Gregorio Coral Jaime – arrested July 20
- Jaime was charged with driving under the influence. He was convicted and sentenced to 48 hours in jail.
Failure to Appear
25-year-old Omar Alejandro Rivera Perez – arrested July 19
- Perez was charged with failure to appear on a charge of DUI from February 2024. He was booked on a $12,000 bond.
Knox County police also arrested the following individuals:
26-year-old Jairon Rivera-Tamat – arrested July 20
- Rivera-Tamat was charged with driving without a license, financial responsibility law, DUI (first offense), and registration expired. He was booked on a $5000 bond.
31-year-old Glendis Mendez Zavala – arrested July 20
- Zavala was charged with theft of property ($10,000-$60,000), driving unregistered vehicle on highway, financial responsibility law, two counts of child restraint (children ages 9-15), driving on roadways laned for traffic, two counts of reckless endangerment, and driving without a license. She was booked on a $200,000 bond.
Inmate records show that these individuals currently have immigrant detainers and will remain in custody until released to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. An ICE hold most likely means they are in this country illegally.
