If Republicans in Tennessee don’t do well in Novemer, they have just one person to blame: Donald Trump. Most of the people I know who voted for Trump said they wanted him to secure the border with Mexico and lower inflation. And to his credit he HAS done a good job securing the border. Everything else has been bluster and self-glorification. His poll numbers are horrible. Buyers remorse is increasing among Republicans and independents.
And yet, some Trump supporters think his best strategy is to declare some sort of national emergency and cancel the midterms. Don’t they realize that such a thing would cause a huge amount of damage to the GOP in the long run? Apparently not.
