What’s Happening To This Good Red State of Tennessee? (Op-Ed)

I moved to TN as a political refugee, from a state that paid little heed to our Constitution.

First, I looked hard at TX,  SC, GA, and AL. I chose TN, and was thrilled when I arrived.  The people were courteous and friendly. Their children helped open doors for me, and said please and thank you.  Little stuff, I know, but TN felt, to me, like what America used to be.  

Since I’ve come, and observed Tennessee conservatism more  closely, I am finding things I’d hoped never to see. 

 

Bill Lee’s Executive Orders during Covid made my blood run cold. He authorized the activation of internment camps (and construction of more) “to sufficiently confine all persons who refuse to be examined, treated, isolated or quarantined’ (TN Code ANN. S68-9-205). He invited federal troops into TN to control the masses. EO’s 83 and 90, in case you want to look them up.

The governor is also at the center of other unconstitutional thinking, such as gun control, education indoctrination, and unwillingness to allow improvements in our election integrity (which was ranked #1 in importance in a poll before the Midterms, 2022).

Knowing what I do about the structure of election malfeasance, I almost want to laugh at the self-serving headline on the TN Election web page: “TN Election Integrity Ranked #1 in the Country”, boasts Secretary Hargett. That “brag” is followed by, “Voting machines in TN are not connected to the internet.” Lol, as they say. Here is exactly HOW we are connected, directly to the DHS.

Every county in TN has the Department of Homeland Security’s Albert Sensors in their servers. An Albert Sensor is  billed as an “intrusion detection system” to prevent foreign interference. It is a black box server (named thus because counties actually know little, if anything, about the system).  Albert is installed on the counties’ systems, and collects the traffic flowing on their election networks, non-stop/365,  transmitting this data to a NON-PROFIT in NY, run by the DHS. (a DHS “non-profit”? ?) Each county with an Albert  Server also must also sign an agreement that gives CISA  (DHS’s Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency)  access to information about the counties’ hardware configurations and security settings, making federal  “connections” easier. County officials have no access to the Albert/CISA reports, dashboards and analyses.

Few states had Albert Sensors until after Trump was elected  in 2016. Then, suddenly, as foreign election interference became the hot card of the day, DHS decided everybody needed an Albert, and the concept was “sold” to mostly unwitting Secretaries Of State and county election officials.  Albert was FREE! No charge. Riiight. Who ever fell for THAT one? Every move the federal government makes is  financed by you and me. And, then, there’s that little requirement allowing CISA to have all that information….

Foreign interference in our elections is proven to be much  less of a threat than interference by our own federal players. Any foreign election involvement has proven to be connected to the crooks in DC. Look it up and learn Albert’s story. I’d say the price of that little guy, Albert – allowing the federal government unlimited and unfettered access to our voting  records as he does – is VERY steep.

I’m guessing, even hoping, that our state officials who  oversee elections don’t comprehend the slippery slope of Albert. As an election integrity expert once told me,  information in Albert can flow both ways and be used in any way DHS sees fit, because the counties/states don’t know  and can’t observe its machinations.

But, please, Mr. Hargett, don’t try to get us to believe that TN elections are  impenetrably safe. 

And, oh yes…if you have such confidence in our machines,  sir, why are we not allowed to do FREE bi-partisan parallel hand counts of election results in our counties to prove your  point? Why must we get a judge to ok that?

Looking at the above, you begin to see how Ron DeSantis got to be the keynote speaker of the upcoming TN Republican  Party’s Statesmen’s Dinner.  

Mr. DeSantis has a similar love for voting machines, having  just made them mandatory in FL. He is pure-blooded RINO,  funded and endorsed by many of the big names in that Uniparty/Globalist structure (Bush, Ryan, McConnell, Rove, and even a man who is a one-third owner of TikTok, from what I read).

Governor Ron has been with them for decades. He speaks with forked tongue, promising one thing then delivering another. In the US Congress, he voted over 90% of the time for big business and against the little guy. I know him well, after working with some of Florida’s best citizen election integrity activists for the last year. Please get acquainted with the man.

His constituents are very upset by his abandonment of promises (like finishing his term as their Governor), sneaky last-minute legislation, treatment of storm victims, J6 families and massive voter roll manipulations occurring in  the state, which he has ignored.  

DeSantis has declared voting by machine, mandatory, and hand counts, illegal. No election process or result is now allowed to be challenged or analyzed by citizens; only government officials may question anything.  

He refused to pass the citizens’ medical freedom bill because he didn’t want to call their personal choices a “civil right”,  and passed, instead, legislation that only covered COVID,  which was to expire days after he signed the bill.

IMHO, Bill Lee and Ron D. seem like they will become good  friends in RINOland, if they are not already. I’d say we need to keep a sharp eye on both.
