When Tennessee Really Needs Him, Where’s Phil Williams?

Phil Williams is long on ego but short on substance. If a story can’t be easily manipulated to fit his far-left agenda, they’ll be nothing but radio silence from him. I’ve worked with journalists from all over the world, and in my estimation he is not a serious investigative reporter. I suspect that’s a major reason he is still hanging around the Nashville market after all these years—the news media in larger markets are not interested in someone who looks and acts like Ted Baxter’s little brother.
