Despite Misinformed Attacks, Tennessee Geoengineering Ban Is Signed Into Law

Despite attempts from the media and Democrats to thwart the effort, Governor Lee has signed legislation into law that aims to prohibit the intentional release of chemicals into the air in an attempt to modify the weather, temperature, or sunlight intensity.
The Tennessee House passed HB2063 on April 1st with a 70 -22 vote with only one Republican Representative voting against – Sam Whitson (R-Franklin-District 65). Representative John Ragan (R-Oak Ridge-District 33) was marked as present but not voting.
HB2063/SB2691 states, “Environmental Preservation – As enacted, prohibits the intentional injection, release, or dispersion, by any means, of chemicals, chemical compounds, substances, or apparatus within the borders of this state into the atmosphere with the express purpose of affecting temperature, weather, or the intensity of the sunlight. – Amends TCA Title 4; Title 5; Title 6; Title 7; Title 8; Title 39; Title 42; Title 43; Title 44; Title 55; Title 58; Title 59; Title 60; Title 65; Title 68 and Title 69.”
Representative John Ray Clemmons introduced an amendment to the legislation that would add the following new section: “The intentional injection, release, or dispersion, by any means, of chemicals, chemical compounds, substances, or apparatus within the borders of this state into the atmosphere with the express purpose of affecting temperature, weather, or the intensity of the sunlight, which may threaten the Sasquatch and its natural habitat, is prohibited.”
Clemmons noted that he did not intend for his amendment to be taken seriously and moved to withdraw it, asking as well that the sponsor withdraw the bill because it should not be taken seriously either.
The Tennessean, a left-leaning news outlet ran an article titled, “Tennessee Senate passes bill based on ‘chemtrails’ conspiracy theory: What to know”.
The article states, “The bill claims it is “documented the federal government or other entities acting on the federal government’s behalf or at the federal government’s request may conduct geoengineering experiments by intentionally dispersing chemicals into the atmosphere, and those activities may occur within the State of Tennessee,” according to the bill.
However, the federal documents do exist, and they were presented in the multiple General Assembly hearings on this legislation.
In an op-ed, Danielle Goodrich of Tennessee Stands – Tri-Cities Coalition wrote, “had The Tennessean done actual reporting and covered the hearing they couldn’t pretend the documents didn’t exist anymore than they could claim that geoengineering doesn’t exist.”
The White House document titled Congressionally Mandated Research Plan and Initial Research Governance Framework Related to Solar Radiation Modification was pointed to as the cause of a sense of urgency to enter legislation establishing a governance framework for geoengineering and forms of weather modification like SRM (solar radiation modification), SAI (stratospheric aerosol injection) and other aerosol injection practices in Tennessee as well as in seven other states.
Those states include Kentucky, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Illinois, South Dakota, Minnesota and Connecticut.
Representative Monty Fritts (R-D32-Kingston) carried the legislation in the House and Senator Steve Southerland (R-D9-Morristown) carried it in the Senate.
The Tennessee Senate passed SB2691 on March 18th along party lines with a vote of 25 – 6 in favor.
There is no mechanism in the bill to hold the federal government accountable should they engage in this now illegal activity.
However, most conservatives believe that Tennessee having a law on the books that makes the actions illegal is a good first step.
The law was signed by Governor Lee on April 11th, and will take effect on July 1st, 2024.

Right on! Thank you Tennessee Legislators. Despite what the “PRAVDA ON THE CUMBERLAND” rag of a news source says! The Tennessean has proven to be wrong on all major issues facing our state. It is always on the communist side of the issues. I remember when the Tennessean said there’d be blood in the streets when the legislature passed the CCP laws….beware of the coming “Old West gun battles” they said. The Tennessean would be LAUGHABLE if not for the few people who take it seriously! Chem trails are a proven fact, SO BEWARE, those that want to use our state as a ‘test’ lab for their weather changing chemical tests will now find ways around the law….so be vigilant!
Any legislator that denies they are poisoning our skies, air and soil are the same illiterates that believe UN Agenda 21 is not real as well. They either live in a secluded lala land, are totally out of touch or complicit. None of the reasons are acceptable.
Well, like the article says, we are part way there. I wish they’d left out the wording: “intentional injection, release, or dispersion, by any means, of chemicals, chemical compounds, substances, or apparatus within the borders of this state into the atmosphere with the express purpose of affecting temperature, weather, or the intensity of the sunlight. ” What’s to stop them from saying, it was UNintentional? Or, they were doing it for the PURPOSE of dumping excess chemicals, or the PURPOSE of poisoning us, or whatever? All they have to do is change the ‘intent’ or the ‘purpose’ and they are still good to go.
A few years ago, one evening I noticed the all-to-familiar crisscross in the sky northwest of Sparta. A couple of days later, we had a massive tornado outbreak. I’m not suggesting that anyone had the intent of creating damaging winds, but I’ve always wondered if they accidently exacerbated a storm. Though the name The Tennessean sounds like a local paper. Remember that it is basically USA Today, distributed in Tennessee. Gannett is just another conglomerate megaphone. Thank goodness we have alternatives like this.
I noticed the chemtrails across our Tennessee skies in Knoxville when my children were young and we would sit outside and watch them make fake clouds and huge X’s all over our skies and this was around the 1990’s. I use to tell my neighbors and other people about it and they thought I was crazy. Thank you Tennessee, for finally taking action to ban these chemtrails from our beautiful blue skies.
