The Tennessee Conservative [By Olivia Lupia] –
The Tennessee Faith & Freedom Coalition (TN-FFC) is an organization that purports itself as a “grassroots” organization which claims it advocates for Christian values, defending the Constitution, limited government, and other conservative values, yet notoriously endorses and supports known RINO legislators. Now, they have pulled an unusual stunt by changing their X (formerly Twitter) name to seemingly mimic the Tennessee Conservative’s (TTC).
TN-FFC’s X name is now displayed as THE Tennessee Conservative Faith & Freedom. It is unusual for an organization with an established brand to change a social media handle or name as it could disrupt their algorithm and search engine optimization (SEO) results or potentially cost them followers, but TN-FCC apparently thinks they can gaslight Tennessee conservatives by attempting to siphon the following and reach of the Tennessee Conservative.
The TN-FFC has often slung derogatory remarks towards TTC and other conservative groups, including writing off TCC as only a “blog” and “grifters”, attempting to discredit detailed reporting about the illegal immigration epidemic in Tennessee, and rising to the defense of RINO establishment leadership and their “accomplishments” in passing ineffective bills or allowing impactful bills to be killed.
One comment on the TN-FFC X page even accused The Tennessee Conservative and fellow conservative organization Tennessee Stands of, “purposely lying and ignoring the truth.”
Tennessee Conservative founder Brandon Lewis commented on the name change, “If a fake, ineffectual group masquerading as grassroots” that’s funded by Tennessee RINO leadership abruptly changes their X-handle to your name, how flattered should you be in a scale of 1 to 10? And what does it mean?”
This garnered some colorful responses from TN-FFC page admin itself and some of its followers. The group representatives resorted to some interesting name calling, “Wow, took you long enough. You have the IQ of a Gerbil, Sleeveless Effeminate Thug Brandon.” While another commentor nonsensically suggested, “Wow, just bend over and show your ass why don’t you.”
Lewis also reached out to the Faith and Freedom Coalition national organization asking if this supposed local chapter has ever shared affiliation with its national namesake:
“Hello F&F Team,
My name is Brandon Lewis and I publish the Tennessee Conservative News, the Volunteer State’s largest Conservative news alternative.
We are writing a story about your local chapter and are trying to determine if your organization is affiliated with theirs – or ever has been.
The conduct of the “coordinator” and recent news regarding board members dropping off has me wondering if you have cut ties with them – or if you are still part of the same organization.
Further, and this is strange, your Tennessee Chapter changed their twitter handle to the name of our publication. Perhaps you may know why?
Thanks, and let us know. We’d love to have a quote from you before publishing the article.”
To date, there has been no response to this inquiry, so it is unclear if any affiliation ever existed or if any ties have since been severed.
While the need to rebrand has often prevented an organization from fading into obscurity, the TN-FFC will certainly find no success in attempting to save themselves by masquerading as Tennessee’s largest and only truly conservative news outlet.

One Response
When I finally found the last actual post, not a repost, they made in their former name, I replied, “Y’all RINOs promoting RINOs SHOULD take Conservative back out of your title.”
