Consider that every Democrat who chooses to vote in a REPUBLICAN primary is a Democrat who is NOT voting in his/her own primary. Would that be such a bad thing? Obviously you favor a CLOSED Republican primary. The GOP in West Virginia recently did the same thing. I think they feared some secret Democrat plot to favor more moderate GOP candidates, or what you call RINOs.
