Is Senator Hagerty aware that Gov. Lee sent to the General Assembly a piece of legislation that allows “Non Citizens to apply for Professional and Commercial Licenses”!!!!???? This passed the General Assembly the last day of session, 04- 28-2022. So I guess the illegals can now get jobs with their newly acquired Commercial Licenses that require CDL licenses, Truck rigs, busses, delivery trucks???? Since they are Non-Citizens, will they take the “test” in Spanish and what a dilemma, they can not read, write or speak English, a requirement for a Naturalized citizens because they are NON-CITIZENS!!!!! I suggest Senator Hagerty call up Gov. Lee and ask the Gov. why he pushed this “legislation” that would complicate and cause havoc in Tennessee with these illegals. This is a disgrace.
