How You Feel Is 100% Up To You

My absolute favorite thing to do is to educate people about how powerful they are.  I feel like this is one of the most important things we can learn today, and seeing the Ah-Ha’s go off on people’s faces as they learn new health tips is so much fun!

For example, when I am coaching or teaching people, I share information like “GERD is NOT from too much stomach acid, it’s from too little the majority of the time” and they are in disbelief that they have never heard this before.  Taking a pill for the rest of your life for something YOU have the power to change just by what you eat can be a game-changer.

Just like breathing techniques and meditation have proven to decrease blood pressure to the point of people going off medication in a matter of weeks!  I once had someone say “You mean I don’t have to take this pill anymore when I eat spicy food if I fix the cause of my low stomach acid??”  NOPE.

So many times, we give our power to the wrong people, modalities, and approaches (pills for everything) without even realizing most health conditions can be addressed from the comfort of your own home.

As we come to the end of this year,  I think we can all agree that although we wish we would have been seeing a health improvement overall in the general population, that has not been the case in 2021.  I attribute this to many things, but fear and disconnection are at the top of my list.

Fear can hijack good health faster than anything else, and disconnection can amplify the emotions and physiological responses, making us feel even more stressed. Therefore, it’s 100% up to us to take back the reins on our health.  YOU are the only person you can truly depend on, so how about flexing those self-love muscles a little and learning as much as you can about what you can do to be more powerful and show up in your life healthier and happier?

There’s a saying in the therapy world “You can only take others as far as you are willing to go yourself.”  I believe that saying applies to so much more.

For example; as a parent, I can’t expect my kid to eat healthy if I don’t.  As a friend, I can’t expect my friends to be happy around me if I am always unpleasant or down.  As a coach, I am always working on my personal growth to share high-value resources and experience continually and hopefully lift others up as I go along in my own journey.

My focus this holiday season is to bring MORE joy and less stress into your holiday experiences by giving you more tools for your health toolbox.

In my live training Dec. 13th, I am going to teach you some easy steps to stay out of overwhelm physically, mentally, and emotionally while diving into the holiday season.  We will be covering mindset, family boundaries (yes, family time CAN be enjoyable no matter what), how to prepare so you don’t gain the holiday weight you dread, and more about how to ease into 2022 with grace for yourself and others.

I will even share some holiday discount tips and gift sites for those hard to buy for folks in your life.  Invite your friends and family and join me for a resource packed hour.  You will walk away feeling a sigh of relief, no gimmicks, no sales pitch to a $500 diet.  Just good information.  I hope to see you there!
