Those were some good questions that you posed, Brandon. It was easy to sense your frustration in asking those questions. While Mr. Johnson did answer the questions directly and coherently, I simply don’t trust most of our Republican legislators outside of a precious few. Thank you for interviewing Mr. Johnson.
I agree that Brandon asked good questions and that Sen. Johnson gave direct and understandable answers. I was impressed by the answers and by Sen. Johnson’s detailed knowledge and intelligence. I’m glad he opposed giving $500 million for a football stadium. I looked at the supposed revenue sources to pay for the bonds and I think they are bogus. If the $500 million is spent, I think the taxpayers will end up paying for it, not the “projected revenues”. I’m very disappointed in Gov. Lee and think Jack Johnson would be a better governor.
Thanks Brandon – you are doing a great service for conservatives. If you have the software to turn the interview into text, it would be great to publish the text of your interviews. I know that software exists and is inexpensive.
Governor Lee just passed the license law to DACA , Tennessee, has thousands of illegals and Tennessee has not stopped it.
Enjoyed the interview with Mr. Johnson. He is obviously a politician as he would answer many questions by speaking to what the other guys were doing extensively and at the end basically saying, we oppose that.
When speaking about illegal immigration, he said we need to demagnetize Tenn. And yet, our legislators passed a law allowing illegal immigrants to obtain professional licenses! I think that’s the opposite of “demagnetize”.
The Davidson County Republican Party needs as much support as possible. We are attempting to bring down the Democrat Goliath controlling Nashville/Metro politics.
