I don’t agree with closing primaries. When I began voting, there was almost no Republican Party in Tennessee. Usually, whoever won the Democrat primary won the election. If I wanted any voice in who was elected, I had to vote in the Democrat primary. Now, it’s almost the other way around. If Republicans run good candidates and turn out to vote, they will not have any trouble winning open primaries.
