Were These 16 GOP State Senators Wrong On The Covid-19 Vaccine?

The Tennessee Conservative [By Adelia Kirchner] –

Two and half years ago, 16 out of 27 Tennessee GOP senators signed a letter endorsing and pushing an “emergency use authorized” Covid-19 vaccine that never provided what federal and state officials were pitching at the time – immunity to the virus.

“We never want you to forget that 17 months into the big lie, 16 Republican state senators signed a letter strongly urging you to get vaccinated,” read a recent post from Tennessee Stands, reminding Tennesseans of what their representatives did just a short time ago.

“Although we have made progress, COVID-19 is not over,” reads the letter, dated July 27th, 2021. “There has been a recent spike in the number of cases, which includes the virus’s more contagious delta variant. A strong majority of these cases are among those who are not vaccinated. And virtually all of those currently hospitalized with COVID-19 have not been vaccinated.”

The letter, helmed by Sen. Ferrell Haile, was written on the premise that the Covid-19 vaccine had been found to be “safe and effective,” relying heavily on CDC data.

Over half of Tennessee’s Senate Republican Caucus at the time, Senators Jack Johnson, Richard Briggs, Todd Gardenhire, Ken Yager, Ed Jackson, Ferrell Haile, Jon Lundberg, Becky Massey, Page Walley, Bill Powers, Shane Reeves, Paul Rose, Art Swann, Dawn White and Bo Watson as well as Lt. Gov. Randy McNally signed this statement

“If [the vaccines] had been available from the start and widely used, over 600,000 American families that are mourning the loss of a loved one, along with tens of thousands of people who are awaiting lung transplants, or trying to learn to walk again, would have avoided that heartache,” the letter reads.

It then goes on to state that “We are well beyond the COVID-19 vaccine trial stage.”

At the time of this letter, Covid-19 vaccines had only been available in the U.S. for a total of 7 months. This begs the question, what evidence did these lawmakers have access to in order to make claims like this with integrity?

The letter backs up its claims by reminding Tennesseans that “vaccines have been saving lives for over a century” and stating that “as a result, polio and smallpox have been eradicated and measles, mumps and rubella are rare.”

In an attempt to quell “vaccine hesitancy” the letter endorsed mRNA vaccines as an effective means for gaining immunity.

The letter further asked Tennesseans to “please compare the very rare instances of side effects with the more than 600,000 deaths in the U.S. which have occurred due to COVID-19.”

Again, Covid-19 vaccines had been available for less than a year.

This letter only references adverse reactions that were officially reported during that short time frame and did not acknowledge the possibility of adverse reactions that could crop up over time due to the vaccination. It also ignored any possibility that the number of reported Covid-19 deaths might have been inaccurate.

The inflated death toll due to “deaths with Covid-19” being counted as “deaths from Covid-19” and the CDC’s eventual admittance of a coding error has since been discussed at great length.

“The facts are clear – the benefits of the vaccines far outweigh the risks,” the letter continues. “Unfortunately, efforts to get more people vaccinated have been hampered by politicization of COVID-19. This should not be political. Tennesseans need factual information to make educated decisions regarding their health.”

The letter concluded by saying, “The COVID-19 vaccines save lives. Again, we strongly urge all Tennesseans to study the facts, talk to your doctor and get vaccinated.”

Some of the same legislators who signed this letter also voted against some of the following:

SJR0993 to add a provision to the Tennessee Constitution declaring an individual’s right to refuse medical treatment and requiring that other rights not be violated due to such refusal, failed in 2022.

SB2009 to prohibit taxpayer-funded entertainment venues from requiring a Covid-19 vaccine for entry, failed in 2022.

SB1982 to prohibit governmental entities, local education agencies, schools, and private business from adopting or enforcing laws, rules, or practices that fail to recognize natural immunity as providing a level of protection that “is at least as protective as a COVID-19 vaccine,” became law in 2022.

SB2188 to authorize pharmacists to provide Ivermectin to patients 18+, became law in 2022.

SB1090 to guarantee religious and medical freedoms of Tennesseans who submitted a religious exemption for participation in society, school, or work, failed in 2023.

These people are weak minded people. They wanted to give up our rights because of fear and no evidence.
They don’t need to be in our leadership.

It’s bad enough that we have way too many RINOs, but even worse is the fact we have literal pHarma whores in the form of Randy McNally and Richard Briggs! I’d be curious to know how much the ole twink McNally’s net worth increased during the scamdemic.

I agree with you. Politicians on both sides of the isle are bought and pay for by big Pharma. They have sold their souls to the satan. The kickbacks made to all involved is astronomical. And big Pharma is still raking the taxpayers over the coals with all the various jabs. Absolutely disgusting. No more jabs. Wake up people.
In God we trust not government or man.
      Have a blessed day.

17 months is a long time to still be buying the covid hoax. Would love to see the bank accounts of the politicians during that period. While the people sleep, the snakes still creep. When will we Tennesseans finally wake up and ditch the DemonRats and RINOs? This state is being taken away from us and we’re too lazy and content to stop it.

When COVID first appeared Fauci lied to the entire country and world! The vaccine companies knew their product was bad. Fauci prevented the use of Ivermectin and hydrocloroquine even though he knew they were effective against Covid. It was all a ruse to get the emergency use declared so they could ban the effective drugs and force use of the vaccine. Many people died from the vaccine and many more will in the future.

What all this showed was how some politicians grabbed onto this power and used it to become tyrants. Tennessee had some of these politicians and they need to be voted out for that reason. We need politicians that stand up and question what is happening. People with principles. Now we know who is lacking s d they need to go!

There were a lot of things done wrong, out of fear. People gave up personal freedom, out of fear. People did desperate things, out of fear. I got the vaccine the day it was available to me, and thanked God for it on the way home, because I was afraid, and I believed the government created a safeguard for me. I got boosted two more times because I believed in the medical community. I was fooled. I don’t blame those that tried. I blame those that lied. But yet you go to almost any medical office today and they are walking around in their dumb-ass masks. They still believe the BS that loose knit fabric can stop something a fraction the size of the holes in the fabric. They are fools and still comply, out of fear. And the medical community still demands obedience to their authoritarian dogma. Noone knew the truth; at first out of ignorance, then evil took over. Scared politicians, non-elected bureaucrats, and the deity of the medical world became dictators. Many out of fear, others out of narcissistic regard of their position, and some out of pure evil. What I really want to see is checks and balances that guarantee this will never happen again. I want protection of civil liberties from unelected bureaucrats and Federal agencies (like the CDC, and medical offices – in bed with big pharma) that anoint themselves God. I want to see state legislation and statutes that ensure state elected officials (and corporate dictators) can never take away civil and constitutional liberties again. I believe in repentance. I understand many made a mistake out of fear and ignorance. If they see they were wrong and have tried to make restitution, they should be forgiven on that topic. If they continue to glory in their power and opinion of their intellect; they should be primaried. This is the government of and by the people; not of and by those that think they are superior to those they were elected to represent.

Trust God and not the government or man. Because both lie and are deceitful. Do your own research.
      Deuteronomy 31:6,8 KJV
Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. And the LORD, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.
      Joshua 1:9 KJV
Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.
      Isaiah 41:10,13 KJV
Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. For I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.
      Jeremiah 17:5,7 KJV
Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD. Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is.
I pray and hope that these words from God encourage you.
      Have a blessed.

Yes, they were absolutely wrong and I want to hear them admit it. People lost jobs, businesses were shut down and were never able to reopen; now people are dying because of a “vaccine” that didn’t prevent you from getting the flu. This was a scam from the start in order to scar people into compliance. The final result was a stolen election and we are seeing the consequences of that every day. I did my research on the scamdemic and did not comply with any of the nonsense coming out of Nashville or DC. Tennessee must get rid of rinos and democrats and make better choices or our state will become just another democrap shi*hole.

These Politician swore an Oath to uphold the Constitution then create legislate where the Constitution does not “Enumerate Power” for them to do so.

The Constitution doesn’t allow any kind of legislation concerning the “Bill of Rights”,

“Implied Powers”, as they claim, doesn’t have precedents over “Expressly Stipulated Rights”.

“CITIZENS” set those rights aside for themselves when “THEY” wrote the Constitution.

They are not something either State/Federal can deny.

Of course this legislation open up the Politicians to a charge under Section 242 of Title 18

Section 242 of Title 18 makes it a crime for a person acting under color of any law to willfully deprive a person of a right or privilege protected by the Constitution or laws of the United States.
For the purpose of Section 242, acts under “color of law” include acts not only done by federal, state, or local officials within their lawful authority, but also acts done beyond the bounds of that official’s lawful authority, if the acts are done while the official is purporting to or pretending to act in the performance of his/her official duties. Persons acting under color of law within the meaning of this statute include police officers, prisons guards and other law enforcement officials, as well as judges, care providers in public health facilities, and others who are acting as public officials. It is not necessary that the crime be motivated by animus toward the race, color, religion, sex, handicap, familial status or national origin of the victim.

The offense is punishable by a range of imprisonment up to a life term, or the death penalty, depending upon the circumstances of the crime, and the resulting injury, if any.

If they have authority to forfeit one of the rights, then they have authority to eliminate the whole Bill of Rights.

Of course you also have a “Second Amendment” that authorize the use of that gun to protect those rights and Freedom, and without Penalty.

    West Virginia State Board of Education v Barnette, 319 US 624, 638; 63 S Ct 1178;

“The very purpose of a Bill of Rights was to withdraw certain subjects from the vicissitudes of political controversy, to place them beyond the reach of majorities and officials and to establish them as legal principles to be applied by the courts. One’s right to life, liberty and property, to free speech, a free press, freedom of worship and assembly, and other fundamental rights may not be submitted to vote; they depend on the outcome of no election.”

    Miranda v Arizona, 384 US 436, 475 (1966)
“Where rights secured by the Constitution are involved, there can be no rule making or legislation which would abrogate them.”

Miller v US, 230 Fed 486,489; “The claim and exercise of a Constitutional (guaranteed) right cannot be converted into a crime”.

Murdock v. Pennsylvania, 319 US 105: “No State shall convert a liberty into a privilege, license it, and charge a fee therefore.”

Shuttlesworth v. City of Birmingham Alabama, 373 US 262: “If the State converts a right (liberty) into a privilege, the citizen can ignore the license and fee and engage in the right (liberty) with impunity.”

They want to attribute deaths to Covid; however, those people were denied medications that worked, like hydroxychloroquine and Ivermectin, for treatment. If they would have given them the correct medications, the death rate would have been next to nothing. It is shameful what happened. There was no need whatsoever for the Covid mRNA gene technology shot, being called a vaccine when it is not one, and now we are finding out more and more about the horrible results of this technology that was used. See Dr. Peter McCullough’s substack for more information.
